Ultra Health continues record growth pace, industry on track for over $105 million in 201

(Albuquerque) – Ultra Health, New Mexico’s #1 Cannabis Company, finished the first quarter of 2018 with over $3.7 million in sales, more than any other medical cannabis provider in the program’s 10-year history. The provider’s first quarter sales are a whopping 90 percent higher than its sales during the first quarter of 2017.

During the same period, patient enrollment has increased by 46 percent, therefore validating the provider’s market dominance and increasing market share. In the first three months of 2018 alone, Ultra Health’s revenue increased by 34 percent while patient enrollment increased by 7 percent.

Ultra Health has lead all 35 licensed producers in 2016, 2017 and continues into 2018.

It is estimated the entire medical cannabis industry reached $24 million in sales during the first quarter of the year. Official industry-wide data will be released in early May following the submission of quarterly reports to the New Mexico Department of Health by each provider, which will be no later than April 23, 2018.

As of March 31, 2018, enrollment in the Medical Cannabis Program reached 50,954 patients.

Ultra Health filed a complaint against NMDOH to ensure an adequate supply of medical cannabis in August 2016. Santa Fe District Court Judge David K. Thomson is expected to rule on the case at 2:30 p.m. on May 14, 2018 in Santa Fe.

Enrollment is expected to surpass 65,000 patients by year end, and industry revenues are estimated to hit an excess of $105 million in 2018.
